The begin: I were challenged to develop the visual communication for Zippy’s Creative Journeys. The concept revolved around four main posters, each representing one of the brand’s core pillars:
Rectangle – discourse and language
Square – physical and sensorial
Circle – social and emotional
Triangle – cognitionThe key: Drawing inspiration from Bauhaus aesthetics, we began by creating a variety of cuts and textures for each geometric symbol. Using this material as our foundation, we worked intuitively on the compositions, allowing form, colour, and texture to guide the creative process. The result was a set of four unique posters that not only embodied the essence of each pillar, but also defined the visual identity for the Creative Journeys event.
Once the posters were developed, the visual identity was applied across all necessary materials — from social media and the website to the blog and paid media.
